FAQ

Questions schools ask.

What do we need to provide?

A room that fits the cohort with space for students to move and talk, a screen or projector, and a whiteboard. We bring the workshop, the materials and the facilitators. We'd also ask that a staff member stays in the room, as most schools require.

Are you insured?

Yes. The Next Chapter Pathway holds public liability insurance, and every facilitator holds a current Working with Children Check. We're happy to provide a Certificate of Currency on request.

What if students don't engage?

The content is what carries the session — students are being told things they've genuinely never been told before, and that holds attention on its own. Around it, we build in discussion, activities and questions put back to the room, so students aren't sitting passively for an hour. Facilitators are trained to read a room and adjust, and up to 50 students per session makes that possible in a way a whole-year assembly doesn't. That said, we won't pretend every student engages equally. What we can say is that the format is designed so most do.

How many students can you work with at once?

We deliver to up to 50 students per session. For larger year levels we run multiple sessions across the day rather than combining students into one big group — it's the difference between students taking part and students sitting and listening.

How much does it cost?

We quote per school based on cohort size and how many sessions you book. Get in touch and we'll give you a figure — there's no obligation, and we'd rather tell you upfront than have you wonder.
